Gay marriage has always been an interesting topic of discussion over the years, or has it?...has the media spent too much time discussing sexuality and orientation, or is it a genuinely interesting topic. Is this so called "phenomenon" still relevant in todays society, considering that it has become much accustomed to and accepted by many people?....Most of us have the intention or even the aspiration of getting married one day, should we still be classifying marriage as a union between a man and a woman (from the 60's, whose the most hectic housewife), or should the definition be stretched further to include any two consenting adults who wish to seal their relationship through the use of vowels?...Is the media portraying modern issues in a "relevant" manner, or have we become a society that spends too much time discussing scandal and matters that fascinate us as opposed to matters that affect and shape the world we live in today. Should our judgements of people and groups be based on logic or what is considered "morally correct"? Have we developed into a society that accepts peoples differences or are there things (such as gay marriage) that should not be tolerated. When responding to these questions please contemplate that prejudice and discrimination in society changes over the years, as history has shown us...
